We have several customers with old E-Bikes manufactured back in the early 90’s.  Many of these bikes are functioning quite well while others have failed for one reason or another.  With a shortage of available parts to fix the bikes we have worked out a simple solution to keep these bike on the road.  In most instances, we have been able to replace the cumbersome and complicated old electronics with simple, modern electronics.  We typically remove the pedal-assist feature in favor of a twist throttle to allow the user to select the amount of power when they want it.  Many of these old E-bikes use the bulletproof Heinzmann motor.  The older 24V motors can be updated to run on 36V.  Bring your old bike in to the shop and let us help you keep it running.
